The unit's first intern, upgrading the university's ageing systems infrastructure.

• Replaced the LDAP, Asterisk VoIP, Squid and Cacti servers, and set up a Postfix mail server that raised student mailboxes from 5MB to 500MB.
• Maintained campus network infrastructure (L2/L3 switching and fibre optics) and trained staff on the systems.

Dating and matrimony platform for Sri Lanka, on the web and as an iOS and Android app, with location-aware discovery on PostGIS and subscription entitlements.

Obituary and memorial platform for Sri Lankans at home and abroad: family-managed notices, a vendor portal, identity verification and a mobile app.

Interactive-book platform for learners, authors and educators: an authoring and publishing workflow with revision previews, and a reader for iOS, Android and the web that keeps learner progress in sync.

Congregation management system that churches license and run themselves instead of paying a subscription: membership, giving, attendance, Sunday school, communications and a member mobile app with push notifications.

• Final-year project SETrans, an English to Sinhala machine translator in Java using the Stanford parser, first-order logic and statistical disambiguation; at least 20 times faster than the rule-based EngSin translator it replaced.
