The Contractor - Website, Jobs & Invoicing

A website that wins work, and the back office that runs it: quote requests, quotes accepted online, jobs and crews, progress invoices, card payments and a portal where customers follow their job. One system, owned by your business.

The price on the quote is the price

Quotes, jobs and invoices are one chain of records, so what the customer accepted is exactly what they are billed.

From enquiry to paid

A quote request becomes a quote, the quote is accepted online, the job is scheduled and crewed, and progress invoices go out — without retyping anything.

Why The Contractor exists

Built for Crews That Quote Per Job

Online Quotes Job Tracking Progress Invoicing Portfolio

Most small trade businesses run on a brochure website, a phone full of photos, quotes typed up in a word processor, a whiteboard for who is on which site, and invoices in an accounting package that knows nothing about the job. The enquiry, the quote, the job and the invoice are the same piece of work, kept in four places.

The Contractor keeps them as one. An enquiry from the website turns into a quote; the customer accepts it online; the accepted quote becomes a job with a site, dates, a crew and a checklist; and the job is invoiced in as many progress claims as it needs. The customer can follow all of it from their own portal.

It is set up for your business — your trades, services, crew, branding and finished projects — and runs as your own deployment. Carpenters, builders, electricians, landscapers and other trades that quote before they start are who it is made for.
