Expand your organization's capabilities and reduce money spent on managed cloud hosting services by implementing your software infrastructure in house. I am an experienced systems engineer who has extensive experience working on Linux, BSD and Windows servers.
I can help you install, configure, and maintain various application solutions, including but not limited to web servers, e-mail servers, authentication servers, VOIP servers, cloud storage servers, etc. I can also provide urgent technical assistance should the services be accessible over the internet.
While I prefer in-house hosted solutions for privacy and availability, I also have extensive experience with various cloud solution providers, including Amazon, Azure, Google and VPS providers Digital Ocean and Linode.
Should you require the services of a systems engineer or a Linux systems administrator, drop me an e-mail with your requirements, and I will see how I can be of assistance.
Web Application Configuration
Most of my systems administration history focuses on web application deployment and maintenance. Recently, I am offering systems administration as a standalone service. All projects would use Chef (IAC - infrastructure as code) for provisioning. I do RedHat Ansible, but as a Ruby developer, I prefer Ruby over endless YAML.
- Ruby: Ruby on Rails, Sinatra, Padrino, Hanami
- Rust: Rocket, Actix, Salvo
- Elixir: Phonix, Sugar, Plug, Trot
- PHP: Laravel, WordPress, CodeIgniter, Symphony
- Node: Express, Koa, Sails, MEAN

If you have an application hosted in a shared host or a cost-prohibitive service like Heroku, I can help you move it to a low-cost, high-performance VPS server provided by Digital Ocean or Linode.
Platforms:
I support every operating system except Microsoft Windows. Almost all tools are built to run on Unix like platforms (Linux, BSD and macOS) except for a few Windows-specific services. While I could help you in Windows, I prefer to keep the bug-ridden insecure platform away from my clients whenever and where ever possible.

Harvest Vase
by studio and friends
Harvest Vases are a reinterpretation
of peeled fruits and vegetables as
functional objects. The surfaces
appear to be sliced and pulled aside,
allowing room for growth.
