නරි නෑවීම කියන්නෙ මොකක්ද කියන කියමන අහලා තිබුනට එකෙ ඇත්ත තෙරුම මම දැනගෙන හිටියෙ නැහැ.

සරලව කියනවානම් නරි නාවනවා කියන්නෙ කෙලෙහිගුණ නොදන්න අයෙකුට උදව් කිරිම. එකියන්නෙ වෙනසක් නැහැ. නරියෙක් නෑව්වට වෙනසක් වෙන්නෙ නැහැ. ඌ උගෙ පරණ ට්‍රැක් එකේ යනවා.

Bathing the fox refers to the act of helping an ungrateful person. While I do love foxes, they are the wild version of our dogs. Helping one would still make it a wild animal and it will not change it habits. Dogs in the other hand are more social. You will get at least a wag of a tail in return.
