Highland is my go to local dairy producer. I find their butter, curd, yoghurt, pasteurised milk, condensed milk and ghee of good quality. How ever it is not always easy to get your hand on Highland products. This might be a case of supply and demand.

Before the first lockdown I did a large purchase of Highland products I could find at Keels. Then during the lockdown, from a Facebook group, I came to know about the website Milco Sri Lanka. I placed my first order just after the first lockdown and the products arrived within a couple days. It was a decent guy in a Toyota Prius. I was plesently surprised. The 2 other orders I placed took longer to come and were delivered by a van that was almost breaking apart. The 3rd took more than 2 weeks to come. About a month ago I placed my 4th another order for exactly Rs. 2000 and it has not yet arrived.

Their service at launch was exceptional. How ever it appears to have deteriorated over time. May be they as the restrictions are easing they are ignoring online orders. That is a disappointing. There is no communication on to why the order is getting late.

I am afraid I will have to classify their service as unreliable and instead of source my dairy products else where. I will never visit the site again unless I am really desparate.
